Drake Wood Duck
This piece was deeply inspired by many quiet mornings spent freezing on the Pacific Flyway refuges, waiting for the mist to clear just to catch a glimpse of a beautiful wood duck drake in the wild. Their colors are almost surreal in person, and I wanted to capture that precise feeling of awe and vivid clarity through bold, expressive brushwork.
The original is one of a kind. These are the archival prints made from it.
